world peace, one day at a time

September 21st is The United Nations International Day of Peace, when people from all over the world will meet in their cities, villages, and fields to celebrate progress that has been made toward peaces, and to discuss strategies for solutions for current problems. Philadelphia will be participating with Philly Peace Day, and you can experience a slice of this special world-wide initiative in your very own back yard.
The International House, just three blocks away from the Quad at 37th and Chestnut, will bring together student groups from Penn, Drexel, and Temple to perform, demonstrate, and inspire one another in the name of peace. The event is free, and begins today (9/20) from 3-7pm. More info available here.
